City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum, Oman’s world-class shopping, leisure, entertainment and hospitality destinations, organised a special suhoor for media representatives to further raise awareness for the ‘Make A Difference’ charitable initiative.
The gathering was held in part to thank media for increasing participation in Majid Al Futtaim’s largest annual Ramadan charity drive -- ‘Make a Difference’ – as well as their ongoing support for the Sultanate’s retail sector, including City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum.
Now in its 11th year, the Ramadan initiative invites people to donate books, toys and clothes to families in need by dropping them off at collection boxes located in the malls. The donations will go toward supporting Omani non-profit Dar Al Al Atta’a. The organisation works to improve the lives of underprivileged people in the Sultanate. Customers can follow #ShareTogether on social media for updates on the campaign.
The malls have also organised special activities, including traditional dance and storytellers for visitors until the end of Ramadan. City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum are open until 12 midnight daily and until 1am during the last week of Ramadan.
